PINE RIVERS BRANCH

The Pine Rivers Branch covers what was known as the South Pine area under the old Pine Rivers Shire Council and the State electorate of Everton. It incorporates those suburbs drained by the South Pine River.

QJA Pine Rivers Branch was initially established on 4th November 2004 in Albany Creek (Pine Rivers Shire Council), and was originally known as South Pine Justices Group. In June 2019, we changed our branch name to the Queensland Justices Association (QJA) Pine Rivers Branch, which incorporated and covered our growing reach within the Moreton Bay Regional Council area.

Today our branch meets on the 3rd Wednesday by-monthly; and our volunteer Justices of the Peace sign 3 days a week at the Albany Creek Library. We invite all Justices of the Peace, and Commissioners of Declaration to attend our meetings, we hold Professional Development training sessions to keep our members abreast of all upgrades to legislation, documentation and community involvement.

We sincerely encourage members of our community to become Justices of the Peace, QJA Pine Rivers Branch has a deep involvement in a mentoring program supported by the JPs in the Community (Dept of Justice), for all new Justices of the Peace.

Being a Justice of the Peace is more than signing documents, we support our community at their time of need.

If you have any questions about becoming a Justice of the Peace or joining the QJA Pine Rivers Branch, use the contact the secretary form on this page.

We look forward to your enquiry and involvement with QJA Pine Rivers Branch.
