BRISBANE NORTH BRANCH

The Brisbane North Branch of QJA encompasses most of the city suburbs on the northern side of the Brisbane River. The Branch's region is contained on the south by the River, on the east by the Bay, on the west by the Western Suburbs Branch and on the north by the South Pine and Hornibrook branches.

BRANCH MEETINGS

In 2024 our meetings will be held at 7.00 pm on the second Monday of February, April, July, September and October. at the Grange Library (79 Evelyn St).  Zoom access may not be available for all meetings.  If it is available, a link will be provided in the meeting notice circulated prior to the date.

COMMUNITY

Professional Development

The Branch supports the professional development of its members via the inclusion of an in-service training session at each Branch meeting.

Brisbane North Branch also conducts a refresher workshop for JPs each year in June.  Non-members, new JPs and students are welcome.

Signing Centres

The Branch supports its local community by encouraging and supporting qualified JPs and Cdecs to volunteer at a number of local signing centres including the following:

  • Aspley Hypermarket Shopping Centre
  • Brookside Shopping Centre (Mitchelton)
  • Lutwyche City Shopping Centre
  • Merthyr Village Shopping Centre
  • Stafford City Shopping Centre
  • Mitchelton Library
  • Keperra Great Western Shopping Centre
